New Contest!

Do you love winning? Who doesn’t? I miss Mardi Gras and now that I’m in Texas, I don’t get to celebrate it in the same way. No fun parades. No Professor Longhair blasting on float speakers. I even miss hearing, “Throw me something, mister” directly into my ears and going deaf for a few minutes. Candy, beads, funny masks and hats, the crazy man dancing with confused people. Those were great times as a kid. Nothing would make me happier than to share those memories. No, I won’t be sitting you down to share some boring stories but I will be telling some great experiences through Cafe du Monde coffee. While I didn’t drink coffee when I was little, I often passed by the little cafe while in New Orleans visiting. You could smell the coffee brewing and the beignets cooking. The cafe was always flooded with people with powdered sugar all over their faces and they were all smiling. I never got to stand in line as a child but I always made a note that as an adult, I would stand for however long it took to get some. Now I get to pass on some of that happiness to a lucky winner. 

So, how do you win? Glad you asked. My Facebook group has the contests and games posted each day. Pay attention because they will be randomly posted at different times. Some will only be for that day and some will allow you to gain entries until February 13, Mardi Gras day. I will be picking a winner that day. So get to it! My group  link is posted on my site.
